While speaking in a function organised by Hotel & Restaurant Association,Katra and Jammu Region Chapter of PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry in connection with farewell of Ranjeet Singh Samyal SSP,GRP Katra,Naresh Kumar Singh Addl.SP Katra and Vivek Shekher Dy.SP Katra ,Mr.Surjit Kumar Singh Deputy Inspector General of Police Udhamput-Reasi range said that best results can only be achieved when Police and public may have best coordination and they work together as a team particularly at place like Katra.He further said that the responsibility of Police and for that matter every department at Katra becomes more because every one working overhere in fact represents   Jammu & Kasmir and if some pilgrim/tourist take homes good or bad image from here infact becomes the image of the state.

He while elaborating the services of out going officers including Mr.Samyal,Mr,Singh and Mr.Shekher he said that there tenure was good and these officers would be remembered for their working and contribution towards the society and best coordination between police & Public.

Mr.Samyal while speaking on the occasion said that he would remain indebted to the people of Katra for the love and effection which they have given to him and his team in the last 3 years  and since the train is going to be connected by Srinagar in the near future and thus importance of Katra would become even more and initiatives started by General Railway Police in last few years would prove to be milestone.

Mr.Singh & Shekher while speaking on the occasion said that Katra is very important town and working overhere at Katra was different experience altogether and hope the blessings of Maa Vaishnodevi ji will continue to shower on them always.

Mr.Rakesh Wazir President HRAK & Chairman Jammu Region PHDCCI while speaking on the occasion besides praising  the officers said that with the coming of Corona Virus in India the responsibility of each and every one becomes more and the need of the hour is this that where on one hand we should see that Corona effected people if any is detected in J&K may get proper treatment and likewise it  be also ensured that Yatra may not get effected by the mere  rumours of this Virus.

 Mr.Shyam Lal Kesar & Virender Kesar Chairman & Sr.Vice President of HRAK while speaking on the occassion lauded the role of these officers while working overhere at Katra and wished them all success in life.
